Earth Day Luminary Parade
This annual luminary parade takes place on Guemes Island of the San Juan Islands in the Pacific North West. This will be the third annual march! Everyone is welcome to join! Bring your own luminary creations, or buy a luminary at the parade and jump in! Meet us at the start of the parade at Anderson’s General Store, or line up along the parade route down South Shore Road and Guemes Island Road. There will be music and celebration at Anderson’s General Store after the parade march!
Children's Luminary Class
The Children’s Luminary Class is taught by professional Luminarian Loalynda at PaperBirds Studio on Guemes Island. Parental supervision is required and make sure to bring a sack lunch as the class is from 11am to 1pm on Saturday April 11th. In this class you will be creating a beautiful luminary to carry in the annual Earth Day Luminary Parade on Guemes Island on April 18th!
Luminary Class 1
Luminary Classes at PaperBirds Studio are taught by professional luminarian Loalynda on Guemes Island of the San Juan Islands. Luminary 1 classes are the beginning level luminary classes for teens and adults. Taking place in late March through early April on Tuesdays Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm, and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm. Here you will be creating your own beautiful luminary for the annual Earth Day Luminary Parade on Guemes Island on April 18th!
Luminary Class 2
Luminary Class 2 is an advanced luminary class taught by professional luminarian Loalynda at PaperBirds Studio on Guemes island of the San Juan Islands. You must have attended the previous years beginning Luminary 1 classes before hand. These classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm in March. In these classes you will create a beautiful luminary to carry in the annual Earth Day Luminary Parade on Guemes Island on April 18th!
Illuminight
Illuminight is the annual luminary walk of the Skagit Valley in Mount Vernon. Join luminarian Loalynda and her PaperBirds Studio team in this years Illuminight luminary walk! Bring your own luminary creations or attend PaperBirds Studio’s luminary classes to create and become part of the luminary team. Can’t wait to see you there!
